Showtime
"Showtime" is the second part of the performance by Analysis Dance Company that had its premiere in Athens on May 3, 2006.
Inspired by William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, this choreography represents current work by Analysis Dance Company.
"Showtime" escapes into dream and imagination and reveals the story of Twelfth Night as of the dance of love or fancy "so full of shapes ... that it alone is high-fantastical." Defined roles are sustained in the plot of the dance, while movement is invested with the mystical inspiration of the blues.
The story unfolding "in disguise" in the choreography links theater to visual arts and to music by Luther Allison.
